HP recently announced the launch of HP Pavilion DV5-1104TU laptop is powered by 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and it is equipped with 15.4-inch WXGA Widescreen Infinity Flush panoramic glass screen, wireless 802.11a/b/g integrated Wi-Fi LAN connection, 5-in-1 media card reader, internal 8X Super Multi double layer (8.5 GB) DVD burner and an HDMI digital output port.

The HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection technology automatically detects when notebook has been dropped and it automatically locks the hard drive to help prevent data loss. With Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 1 pre-installed, HP Pavilion DV5-1104TU notebook sports 15.4-inch (35.8 cm) high-definition BrightView SWXGA capable of displaying 1280 x 800 pixels resolution at 16 : 10 Powered by NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS graphics with up to 251-MB dedicated video memory, with a total of up to 1791 MB of memory TAG support DirectX 10.


Weighing 2.65 kg, the new HP Pavilion DV5-1104TU computer is equipped with Intel PRO / Wireless 3945ABG wireless LAN 802.11 a / b / g networking and Bluetooth 2.0 for a wireless connection. In addition, it also offers Broadcom 5787 10/100 Ethernet LAN, 56 Kbps V.90 modem and 3 USB 2.0 ports for wired connections. The notebook sports an HDMI digital output port that allows streaming of HD video quality over standard TV at home without loss of quality.


HP Pavilion DV5-1104TU sport magic dedicated Chrome Interactive Media controls retro includes backlit buttons QuickPlay Media button, player controls retro, retro Volume control strip and backlit mute button for easy reading and media control. HP Pavilion PC DV5-1104TU also supports integrated fingerprint reader, internal and 5-in-1 multi-format memory card reader built into the notebook for xD, Secure Digital cards, MultiMedia cards, Memory Stick , Memory Stick Pro media cards.


Integrated fingerprint reader at the HP Pavilion DV5 technology allows the user to scan and register their fingerprints to facilitate and non-password access to data and files. The new HP Pavilion DV5-1104TU laptop also offers Altec Lansing stereo speakers integrated into the sport and full-size keyboard with numeric keypad integrated pointing device and touchpad with dedicated vertical and horizontal Scroll Up / Down pad.
